The scene
Vampires play baseball in a thunderstorm because the thunder covers the noise. Twenty-six lines over two minutes with eight parts — Bella and Emmett seven each, Esme four, Edward three, and one line apiece for Alice, Jasper, Carlisle and Rosalie.
Bella is brought along as umpire because Esme knows they cheat. Most of the scene is her reacting to what she is watching — that has to be a home run, right? — and the rest is the family enjoying themselves. Several parts are pure sound: heavy breathing, exhales, a grunt from Carlisle after he calls something a nice kitty. Rosalie's single line, My monkey man
, closes the scene and is the one people quote.

Performing it
A genuinely good ensemble pack because four of the eight parts are one line each, which is the easiest possible way to get a large room involved. Bella is the audience and should stay slightly bewildered throughout. Emmett is the loudest thing in the scene and carries most of the energy; Esme is warm and dry. The single-line parts are all punchlines, so whoever takes them should be ready — especially Rosalie, whose line arrives after a run of wordless noises and needs to land clean. Under two and a half minutes.
