The scene

Buzz mistakes a crane game for a spaceship, and the aliens inside it worship the claw. Eighty-six lines over three minutes across ten parts — Woody twenty-seven, Buzz fifteen, Sid ten, and five separate aliens sharing thirty or so between them.

The first half is Woody trying to steer Buzz towards Andy's car and Buzz heading for the rocket-shaped machine instead. Then the aliens: a stranger, from the outside, followed by five voices saying Wooooo in turn and, later, five voices saying The CLAW! The claw is their master; it chooses who will go and who will stay. Sid wins Buzz, calls it double prizes, and goes home to play.

Performing it

The aliens are why this pack exists. Five parts, nearly identical lines, and the effect only works if the room delivers them in sequence rather than together — The CLAW! five times round the circle is worth rehearsing once before you record. They are also the easiest possible parts for new players. Woody carries the actual scene and should be increasingly frantic; Buzz stays serenely wrong about everything, which is the contrast the whole film runs on. Sid needs to sound like a genuinely unpleasant child. Ten parts and three minutes makes this the biggest room scene in this batch.
