What is Dub-Off?

A free, browser-based voice over app: pick a movie scene, record your own voice over each line, and watch the finished dub without creating an account. You hear each original line, record your take over the muted clip, and the scene's music stays underneath. Or imitate a single sound in Mimic.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Open a Private Room and send the code — your friends fill the seats, you split the scene's lines between you, and you record live. Dub Roulette does the same with a stranger who's online: it matches you first, then the two of you pick what to play. Prefer to fly solo? Solo Show hands you every line yourself.

What do I need to play?

A browser and a microphone — phone or desktop. There's no account and no install; recordings stay on your device unless you choose to post your dub to the gallery.

Is this a free Choicer Voicer alternative?

Yes. Dub-Off is free, runs in your browser with no account, and many of its scenes are the same familiar clips Choicer Voicer players know — movies, memes, anime and game cutscenes. On top of that: a timed recorder, a per-line voice-match score, private rooms and Dub Roulette for playing with other people, and a public gallery. More on voicing over scenes here →

Can I keep my dub?

Yes — after the screening, download your cut as a video file or share it straight from the browser. Takes auto-save locally as you go, so a closed tab doesn't lose your work. Posting to the gallery is optional and public, and you can take a posted dub down any time.
