The scene
Reze buys Denji a coffee and Denji, who has no frame of reference for any of this, concludes that she is into him. Thirty-nine lines over two minutes — Reze eighteen, Denji fifteen, and a café owner with six who is mostly complaining about being asked to serve.
The scene is built on Denji's internal monologue: she sure is touching me a lot, and laughing at my jokes; is it possible that this girl is into me. Between those he drinks the coffee and announces that it tastes like gutter water brewed in the crapper, which makes her laugh harder. It ends with him asking Makima for strength, otherwise he is going to fall for this girl.

Performing it
Reze's laughing is a huge part of the pack — one line is written as a long laugh with a gasp in the middle of it, and it has to sound genuinely delighted rather than polite, because Denji is reading it as interest. Play her warm and a little too forward. Denji's internal lines should shift register: the spoken ones are blunt and childish, the thoughts are faster and slightly panicked. The café owner is pure grumbling and a nice low-pressure third part. Two minutes, three parts, and one of the more character-driven scenes in this batch.
