The scene
A fan Q&A at MineCon 2015 in London, and a small masterpiece of live-event chaos. DanTDM takes the stage to applause and fields two questions from children. The first is about his favourite block, which he answers earnestly, weighing slime blocks against the obvious diamond. The second is a very small child, giggling too hard to finish, shouting something about Dan coming to their house. Dan has eleven lines, the announcer two, the kid with the house invitation three, and a man on the microphone three near-inaudible ones.
What makes it lovely rather than awkward is how graciously Dan handles it. He asks the kid to repeat it, hears it a second time, and turns it into a bit about whether there'll be tea, which lands perfectly. The microphone guy's whispered lines are pure documentary texture. The announcer bookends the whole thing, and on the way out fumbles Dan's name, which is the kind of detail that makes a clip like this live forever. A minute and a half, mostly warm, entirely real.

Performing it
The giggling child's shouted invitation is the line everyone waits for, and it's mostly giggle, so let the words fall apart the way they do; the transcript even tells you to ignore Dan's voice underneath. Dan's part is the pacing challenge: hesitant, chuckling, thinking out loud about slime blocks, then quick and delighted on the tea comeback. The microphone guy's three lines are barely audible, so whisper them and don't push. The announcer wants a big room voice and a genuine stumble at the end. Two players: one takes Dan, the other takes the crowd, the kids and the closing gaffe.
