The scene

No words at all. The Crazy Frog is a computer-animated frog, originally called The Annoying Thing, built around a recording of a Swedish teenager imitating a two-stroke moped engine with his mouth. That recording became a ringtone, the ringtone became a chart-topping remix of the Beverly Hills Cop theme, and the frog became one of the most recognisable noises of the mid-2000s. The scene is twenty-one seconds and exactly one line, and that line is a stage direction.

So what you're actually doing is an engine impression. Revs, idles, a gear change or two, a little vocal exhaust splutter, all in a nasal buzz that a frog apparently makes. There's no dialogue to mistime and no partner to wait for, which makes it either a warm-up or a dare. It's here because the sound is so specific that everyone thinks they can do it, and almost nobody can do it for twenty-one seconds without cracking up. Consider it a breath-control test with a mascot.

Performing it

Take a big breath first; the whole clip is one continuous noise and the trap is running out of air at second twelve. Build the sound in layers: a low idle in the throat, a buzzing rev through pursed lips, then the higher whine as it accelerates, and keep the tongue busy to fake the engine's stutter. Watch the frog's mouth for the rev peaks and match them. It's a solo scene by nature, and in a two-player room one person gets everything, so agree on who has the lungs. The strongest comic angle is total commitment with a dead-serious face.
