The scene

Band Geeks, first rehearsal. Squidward arrives late and grumbling about a music-rental clerk, asks who has played an instrument before, and gets Plankton asking whether instruments of torture count and Patrick asking about mayonnaise. Horseradish is also ruled out. Squidward announces he has enough talent for everyone, cues the brass section, and is knocked flat, whereupon he notes it is a shame that did not kill him. Marching in rows leads to a question about kicking, which leads to Patrick kicking Sandy, which leads to a brawl, which Squidward declares perfect.

This is Squidward’s scene: twenty-six of the thirty-eight lines are his. Patrick has six, including kicking, fighting, screaming and a woozy announcement about a white sedan with its lights on. Sandy has two, Plankton, Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob and Larry one each. The mayonnaise exchange is the famous bit, but it lasts four seconds; the real substance is one weary man’s patience draining away in real time, heckled from the floor every few seconds by people who mean well.

Performing it

You are holding Squidward’s nasal, exhausted voice for two minutes, with the smallest flicker of hope in the middle. The opening two lines are muttered and quick. The deep breath before he cues the band is its own line, and the line from the floor after the brass hits him should be completely flat. Patrick’s mayonnaise question only works asked with total sincerity. Sandy’s two lines are a Texan wind-up, and Patrick’s fight noises follow straight on. Two-player: Squidward against the whole band, where the band player gets seven characters in twelve lines. Solo is very playable, since it is mostly one voice.
