The scene

Mordecai and Rigby use their power on Skips, which means singing at him in unison until he goes away. Twenty-six lines in forty-nine seconds, eleven each for the two of them and four for Skips, who asks reasonable questions and is then sent to the moon.

The structure is unusual and it is what makes this a good pack: after the setup, almost every line is doubled — Mordecai sings a line and Rigby repeats it exactly, all the way through the crotches-and-watches couplet, the beeping, and synchronized!. The song has no real content; it is two people being obnoxious in perfect time, and it works.

Performing it

The doubled lines are the whole exercise, and they are much harder than they look — Rigby has to match Mordecai's exact phrasing and pitch contour, not just his words, so whoever goes second should listen rather than read ahead. In a room this is genuinely fun to get tight. The beeping is two full lines of nonsense and should be committed to entirely. Skips is the straight man, gruff and unimpressed, and his four lines all come before the song. Solo, you are duetting with yourself, which is its own kind of satisfying. Under a minute, so it is cheap to retry until it locks.
