The scene
Joe drills the guys through the "Good Morning" number from Singin' in the Rain and it does not go well. Joe has seven lines, Quagmire six, Peter five, Cleveland two, and Stewie arrives at the end with one. Forty seconds, almost all of it singing.
It opens on Joe announcing they'll do it once more, with no mistakes, over three groans. The round goes surprisingly well — good morning, good morning, it's great to stay up late, the milkman on his way — until Joe screams the cue and Quagmire comes back in sobbing. Stewie's closing line is from a different song entirely, and he apologises for thinking they were still going.

Performing it
This is a singing pack and the tune is doing the work, so pitch matters more than character here. Joe is the drill sergeant: the count-in and the shouted cue are the two moments that need real volume. Quagmire's sobbing "good morning" is the biggest laugh in it and wants a genuine cracked voice rather than a comic wail. Split it across a room if you can — the round only works with separate voices — and whoever takes Stewie should come in confidently wrong and then apologise very quietly.
The dialogue is muted and everything else stays — the score, the room, the picture. You record each line over the silence and the scene plays back with you in the cast. How a dub is made · what the score measures.
