The scene

Tony Stark takes the suit back. Forty-one lines over a hundred seconds, twenty-six of them Tony's, and the imbalance is the point — this is a telling-off, and Peter mostly gets to be interrupted.

It opens with sarcasm (Previously on Peter Screws the Pooch) and gets steadily less funny. Peter's defence is that nobody listened; Tony's answer is that he was the only one who believed in him. The famous exchange arrives near the end — I'm nothing without this suit, If you're nothing without this suit, then you shouldn't have it — followed immediately by Tony hearing his own father come out of his mouth, and then by Peter pointing out that he has no other clothes.

Performing it

Tony's lines are written to be delivered over the top of Peter's, so whoever takes him should come in early rather than waiting politely for a cue; No, this is where you zip it only works if it interrupts something. Keep him quick and dry for the first half and let the anger surface only around What if somebody had died tonight. Peter is fifteen and out of his depth — the pleading near the end should be genuinely embarrassing to listen to. The last two lines snap back to comedy, so do not stay heavy. A strong two-hander with a clear lead and a clear support.
